Year 6 to 7 Transition Program

Kincumber High School and our four partner primary schools form the Kincumba Learning Community (KLC).

We are proud and committed to provide a supportive preparation for high school program for students as they move from Year 6 into Year 7 at our school.

The KLC Transition Team, comprised of representatives from each partner school, meet at various times throughout the year to plan and coordinate the Transition Program to meet the needs of all students. 

Key Events - Year 6 into 7 Transition program 2025

• Meet and Greet Evening - Wednesday 5 March 2025 - 6pm - 7:15pm - Kincumber HS Hall
• Sports Day - Wednesday 2 April 2025 - for all Year 6 students in the Kincumba Learning Community.
• KLC Connect - Wednesday 10 September 2025 - for Year 6 students in the Kincumba Learning Community that are enrolled in KHS Year 7 2026.
• Orientation Day - Tuesday 2 December 2025 - for Year 6 students in the Kincumba Learning Community that are enrolled in KHS Year 7 2026.
• Orientation Evening - Wednesday 3 December 2025 - KHS Hall.
