Year 6 to 7 Transition Program

Kincumber High School and our four partner primary schools form the Kincumba Learning Community (KLC).

We are proud and committed to provide a supportive preparation for high school program for students as they move from Year 6 into Year 7 at our school.

The KLC Transition Team, comprised of representatives from each partner school, meet at various times throughout the year to plan and coordinate the Transition Program to meet the needs of all students. 

Key Events - Year 6 into 7 Transition program 2024

• Meet and Greet Evening - Wednesday 13 March 2024 - 6pm - 7:15pm - Kincumber HS Hall
• Sports Day - Wednesday 3 April - for all Year 6 students in the Kincumba Learning Community.
• KLC Connect - Wednesday 11 September - for Year 6 students in the Kincumba Learning Community that are enrolled in KHS Year 7 2025.
• Orientation Day - Tuesday 3 December 2024 - for Year 6 students in the Kincumba Learning Community that are enrolled in KHS Year 7 2025.
• Orientation Evening - Wednesday 4 December - KHS Hall.
